App Installation & Setup

Beam is a Jira Forge-native telemetry application. It requires no external infrastructure and functions strictly within your Atlassian environment, ensuring full data containment.

PREREQUISITES

  • [-]You must have Jira Administrator permissions.
  • [-]The app must be installed via the Atlassian Marketplace.

INSTALLATION STEPS

Navigate to your Jira instance Apps > Explore more apps.

Search for "beam" (Publisher: luxMetrics).

Click Get app and confirm the installation.

Once installed, navigate to the beam menu item in your Jira project navbar.

Automatic Sync

Beam automatically initializes the telemetry feed upon the first project access.

Access Control

User permissions for viewing beam telemetry are inherited from existing Jira Project Role settings.
